This was my first painting of 2023 and what a way to start it. I have attempted to combine several styles of work I have done previously. I am continually trying to refine and improve my process do deliver the best work I am yet do to. The sea has a conflicting place in my heart, it offers both calm and chaos. Overbearing thoughts can often feel like being lost at sea, this does not mean we are not on the right path and travelling in the right direction. Focus on the small things in life that bring you joy and lets share those over bearing mental loads of often as possible.
